Since 1974 Excellence in Service to the Community

 Lincoln County Ambulance District has been serving the residents of Lincoln County for over 40 years.  Beginning as a small funeral home ran ambulance district to a mid sized service with 5 full time ambulances running 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

The District employees 38 full time paramedics and EMTs along with 4 office staff.  There are also approximately 40 part time paramedics and EMTs who fill in when needed.

In 2004 a fifth ambulance was added to help alleviate the strain of the call volume and reduce response times to the Northwest corner of Lincoln County.  At that time there were 45,000 residents in Lincoln County and the ambulance District ran XXX calls.

Today there are more than 55,000 residents and over 7,000 calls per year.  The number of ambulances has stayed the same.  Lincoln County is growing and so is the call volume.
